What We Are Doing

Our concrete action in the face of the artificialization trajectory

Foundation

Artificiality as the single source of crises

Artificiality designates the ensemble of systems arising from human activity that cumulatively transform the environment, creating a gap between organisms and their milieu by preventing the living world's regulatory processes from maintaining equilibrium.

The trajectory began with fire

The domestication of fire constituted the first divergence. Fire made agriculture possible (clearing by burning, cooking grains, viable storage). Agriculture enabled sedentarization, surpluses, specialization. Surpluses enabled the State, hierarchies, civilization. Each artifice necessarily led to the next. No individual decision or collective will could have altered this trajectory.

The problem cannot be fixed by reforms

Energy transition, sobriety, green growth address symptoms but not the structural cause. History shows that all these attempts fail: energy consumption continues to increase, extinction continues, destruction shifts but does not cease.

If we do nothing, three catastrophic scenarios

Continuation of the current trajectory would lead to extinction of complex life, artificial adaptation of humans (degeneration then transhumanism), or chaotic collapse with probable reindustrialization. In all cases: maximum suffering, irreversible destruction, loss of knowledge.

Our Objective

Prepare the exit from artificiality

Our objective is to build now the material, intellectual, and social conditions that would enable an organized exit from artificiality—whether this exit takes the form of coordinated industrial dismantling (Option B) or any other unidentified path.

Build alternatives in all scenarios

Whether the exit happens in a coordinated manner or we undergo collapse, the alternatives we build today have value. Prepared communities survive better. Knowledge persists. Networks facilitate mutual aid. Viable models accelerate transition.

Demonstrate through facts

Our strategy relies on concrete demonstration that a life less dependent on artificiality is possible. No proselytizing, no moralizing discourse—simply proving through experience that other forms of human organization are viable.

Strategy

Our strategy operates simultaneously on four axes. All our actions are strictly within legal and democratic frameworks.

Axis I — Awaken consciousness about the trajectory

01Encyclopedic Wiki

Production of a complete and rigorous encyclopedia of feralism: philosophical concepts, historical analysis, critique of artificiality, comparison with other movements. Verifiable sources, explicit methodology, acknowledgment of limitations.

Utility: Solid intellectual reference for understanding the trajectory from fire. Academic legitimization. Foundation for public debates.

02Publications and articles

Accessible texts on the blog, social networks, multilingual translations. Participation in public debates, responses to criticism, democratic engagement.

Utility: Reach a broad audience. Allow people who have already reached understanding to find each other.

03Studies and research

Submission of articles to peer-reviewed journals. Participation in conferences. Dialogue with researchers in ecology, anthropology, philosophy of technology.

Utility: Intellectual credibility. Influence in academic and institutional spheres.

Axis II — Create the international network

01Identification and connection

Voluntary recruitment in all countries. Identification of people who have reached understanding of the trajectory. No proselytizing, but visibility to allow the conscious to find each other.

Utility: Critical mass for any future action. International coordination necessary (no isolated local solution resists competitive pressure).

02Online community

Discussion platform, experience sharing, mutual aid, coordination between projects. Forum, thematic groups, messaging.

Utility: Weave connections between dispersed feral communities. Create solidarity networks. Real-time knowledge transmission.

03Project mapping

Referencing of feral places, habitats, ongoing projects, available lands. Geographic visualization of the network.

Utility: Facilitates physical meetings. Enables resource sharing. Identifies priority zones for expansion.

Axis III — Build material infrastructure

01Marketplace

Exchange platform for goods and services between members: tools, seeds, practical knowledge, construction materials, temporary accommodation.

Utility: Progressive material autonomization. Reduction of dependence on conventional commercial circuits. Solidarity economy.

02Academy / Training

Online courses and practical workshops: permaculture, natural construction, food preservation, plant medicine, crafts, ancestral techniques.

Utility: Transmission of lost knowledge. Development of autonomy skills. Preparation for future transitions (all scenarios).

03Accommodation / Places

Referencing of welcome places for visitors, workshops, training. Creation of collective farms, shared habitats, training centers.

Utility: Physical spaces to experiment. Concrete demonstration of viability. Refuges in case of collapse (scenario A).

04Concrete production

Construction of material alternatives: autonomous food systems, low-tech habitats, repairable tools, passive energies.

Utility: Prove now that it's possible. Documentation of successes and failures. Reproducible models for transition.

Axis IV — Participate in democratic debate

01Open publications

All texts, analyses, proposals public and accessible. Total transparency about reasoning and sources.

Utility: Intellectual integrity. Enables criticism and collective improvement. Avoids sectarian drift.

02Political proposals

Formulation of concrete proposals for democratic institutions: progressive dismantling policies, enhanced ecosystem protection, reduction of energy dependence.

Utility: Participation in public debate. Potential influence on collective decisions. Preparation for Option B (coordinated dismantling).

03Institutional cooperation

Engagement with environmental NGOs, universities, international organizations. Working from within existing structures when possible.

Utility: Influence in decision-making spheres. Access to institutional resources. Increased legitimacy.

Guiding Principle

We do not seek to convince. We seek those who have already seen.

Laws change historically through democratic processes. We participate in this debate through ideas and facts. We build alternatives, demonstrate their viability, propose understanding to public debate.

Our influence will be that of ideas demonstrated by facts, not that of constraint or manipulation.
